I got the same info about splitting tablets from my endo as well, as long as the entire dose is taken in the 24 hr period, the very slight difference will not matter. Katelynn is also a "text book case" of tightly controlled CAH - never a crisis. She was never on the cortef liquid suspension either, I am very thankful for that after some of the post I have read.
