This board was the first place I ever heard of "Cortef Liquid" and after all the problems everyone had I can look back and be grateful that it wasn't prescribed (maybe wasn't even available 15 years ago-almost to the day) when my son was diagnosed as an infant! I have to admit I was horrified when his doc told me, "Come get this medicine & give it to him right away!!" I asked, "What is it, a liquid or an injection?" and he said, "It's pills." I said, "He's 2 months old!! How do I give PILLS to an infant??!!" his reply was, "You'll figure it out. Just get them in him NOW!" After trial & error, and asking some really good nurses for pointers, we did just fine.
