Hi Karen, welcome board!! I have a 4 y/o son with CAH. He was diagnosed 1 year ago. His meds are not problem anymore, but a year ago we would work very hard to get him to take them. His 2PM dose was always done while walking out the door. I would have the car running and everything in the car to go to the park and I would stand at the door and say "Take your medicine, it's time to leave now" he would gulp it down in a hurry to do something fun. Then I would make a big deal about how great he was taking his meds. The blood draws were rough on us too. Then he got his Medic-Alert, my Mom told him it was a "Power Bracelet" and it would make him strong for his blood draws. Know what? he's never cried since then, he even pulls the needle out himself. Now, my son chews all his meds except the experimental drugs that are capsules. I empty the capsules in his apple juice (drinks apple juice to help with constip[ation that's supposed to be common with CAH?) HTH, SelenaSelena
