My 11 non(or very mild) salt wasting daughter has been sick since Tuesday night. Originally diagnosed as stomach virus and had to run it's course. Still sick and at dr (pediatrician) today and having pain localized in her left lower abdomen. Dr. said pain seems to be left kidney. Ran urine test for kidney infection and it came back negative. Still in pain tonight. Dr said still hoping just a virus but if not better tomorrow to call and they will do an ultrasound. Have been giving her stress dose of her hydrocortone and normal florinef. Any ideas? Kay p.s. Just prior to all of this she had an ear infection and extremely congested. She was on two different antibiotics (omnicef and vantin before the ears cleared up.)
