I get the same pains in my adrenals also. There are MANY people on the Addison's board that complain of pain in the adrenals. The endo's will say that's impossible, but the pain is there. Several folks on the LOCAH board have talked about having cysts on their adrenals, or enlarged adrenals (I guess most of us have that from our adrenals trying to work overtime)Anyway, personally, I'm going to have my endo ultrasound mine, because I always get the pain on the right side. For me, it is totally different than menstrual ovulation pain. Before I was properly treated for CAH I had many cysts on my right ovary. I would have excruciating pain when they would burst, in fact once I was taken to the hospital because we thought it was my appendix (sp). They did an ultrasound and found a huge cyst. It did pop on it's own thankfully. Anyway, the cysts stopped happening as soon as I got a handle on my adrenals. The back pain has not however stopped. Susan A.
