Thanks so much for remembering about my son's visit tomorrow. Thank you also for sharing your stories. I look at tomorrow as a fact finding mission. The prognosis for my son's height is only about 5'0". I'm 5'3" and my husband is 5'8". We have had 3 different docs tell us the same figure. I already know that it is not the worst thing that can happen to him and we should be happy just to have him, but I also want/need him to know that we have done everything that we can for him. He has got a lot of things going for him, he has a 10' tall personality, he's kinda cute (if a mother is allowed to say that about her own child)and he has the thoughts and prayers of all of you on this board! How can we loose? My stomach is still in a knot, and I still can't seem to relax enough to think straight, but I know I will find the strength to do what I have to do tomorrow. Thanks again Wendy-Lee, Laura, Maxine and Deb for your good wishes. It was a nice surprise to see this post and to realize that someone remembered something I wrote a week ago. You should know that you have given me a new sense of optomism for Ryan. I will tell him how lucky I am to have found you guys on this board. I will let you know how it goes. Wendy-Lee, I'm still having that problem trusting what the doctors tell me. Yesterday our ped endo called and said that Ryan's OHP levels were 50. Now he is over supressed!! His cholestorol is a bit high, but I don't know what that means for a 4 year old. He's always been so skinny before the change in meds. He has lost a little bit of weight since we lowered the dosage though. I'm sorry for the "free-flow" thinking here but at least I'm thinking in some form huh? I predict that I will have many questions for you guys after tomorrow's meeting. Talk to you then. Thanks again for all the love and support. Lynn(:>)
