dose - to Carol

Hi Carol, I am not sure if my post was clear. My son is actually now on 8.75 mg per day of Cortef. He was as high as 10mg per day. The 21 number is mg/m2. See my reply to Andy for info on that. As far as the 17OPH levels go, there does seem to be a difference in what dr.s would like to see. It seems some are much more accepting of slightly high levels, while others reall try to keep it in the "normal" range. I know I read an article - I can probably find it again if you would like - that talked about it being o.k. for CAH kids to have levels slightly higher than normal because it "cost" them to much in overmedication to get their levels to "normal".
