I am not sure if I understand all you are saying. Do you think your daughter will need more Cortef in the winter and less in the summer? Like Ashley I haven't heard of that before. Or, do you think your daughter is doing better now on a lower dose and you will keep her at a lose dose? The reasons Jack's dr. and I think he is oversuppressed are (1)his blood test results. His 17 OHP was <5, ACTH <10. (2)His appearance. He wass starting to get a more moon shaped face. He was getting a little hump on upper back/neck area. (3) I noticed changes in his energy, sleep and eating. He was very, very energetic, needed very little sleep, and was eating constantly. (4) The growth charts. His length/height growth slowed alot and his weight increased too much. Once again I am hopeful that his next test will come back better. He will get his blood drawn again in 2 weeks. He is now down to 8.75mg/day, or 15.14mg/m2. I just pray these are better and he won't need to have more tests for several months.
