I love you guys. I know I say that constantly. But you are always constantly there for me. You were DEFINETLY with me today. Your prayers worked!!!! The urologist said that her ultrasound showed healthy kidneys and bladder. He said that would indicate if her urine was not being emptied by some kind of blockage in the urethra. (that was what I was concerned with) He said little girls do experience some burning sensation once in a while. He said to keep her hydrated because perhaps the salt she is passing in her urine is adding to her irritation. Which makes me think about the contents of her urine. Is she loosing too much sodium? If you can remember I took her to make sure her urine was clear after the antibiotics were done from a previous infection. She had NO burning. The test was clear then sent to a lab to grow, for an extra precaution. That test showed bacteria present. He said this bacteria was from perhaps her butt area. He said it was very hard to be completely sanitary in the collection of urine at her age. The first test was accurate in saying the urine was clear. He said if she gets anymore burning to try to treat it within 24hours with an abundance of liquids and Destinine. If that does not cure the burning then to see a doctor. And of course if it accompanies a fever, then immediately see a doctor. If a fever is joined with another infection, then they will scope her to see if there is a urethra problem. I have changed toilet paper and all the other things you guys suggested. We are going from there. I am so relieved! Ya, I am still worried. But I just hate to see her endure anymore surgery. This urologist is great. He said the less we mess with down there the better. Because evertime you do another surgery there is a possibility of leaving more scar tissue. He does not want to do anything until he absolutely has to. Until then I will keep my prayers going and fingers crossed. I truly believe it was your prayers that has brought us through this day. I felt a calmness when I got there. I really felt you guys with me. Thanks for being there. God be with you.
