Kym, you guys are the ones who I should be thanking. I wouldn't have the strength to do anything but try to figure out how to repair the damage done to my son if I didn't have you guys. How isolating would that be. About your child though, I think I may have posted to you before, but at the risk of being redundant, has his salt been checked lately. That is one reason for slow growth. Also, it could be a reason for the constipation. My son had the same thing during the months when he sweat too much. We had to perform manual extraction on him. It wasn't a pretty site. We increased salty foods (gatorade, pretzels, etc.) and pushed fluids and we haven't had a problem since. The "poops" were also of an odd yellow color and hard as a rock! Poor little kids. I'm sure you have tried all of this Kym, but I have gotten some of the best advise from listening to other people talk about their kids. We never know what is related to CAH and what is not. We will ask Dr. New for you. I must also say that when this happened, my son was also under 2 years of age. Good luck to you, Lynn(:>)
