Every bit on info on CAH I have read so far is vague about the particular name of the androgen produced by the andrenal gland. I would like to know the name. Also, what is the link between the adrenal gland and the testes? How are they related, and if the adrenal gland is producing too much of that vague androgen, by what feedback mechanism does this info get to the testes and cause it to shut down? I'm a competing olympic-style weightlifter and it is improtant for me to know more about cortisol, testosterone, leutinizing hormone, etc. I'll keep looking for information on the web and keep my eyes open on the message board.
