Joan, thank you so much for explaining in those terms. I have a salt-wasting girl. I too would love to hear from you. And what a good idea to put the responsibility in there hands at such a young age, yet have mom "really" still in charge. Just like taking her meds has become an everyday event to her as breathing, I will start to put her "in control" as much as a three year old can be. I figured when it is time to start teaching her to learn how to keep time, is when I "put her into control". I have said before on this board, I plan to show my daughter the seriousness of leading a healthy CAH life. But I won't be stupid to think teenagers never rebel. But that is where I hope my message comes across. Thank you so much for sharing with us moms. I get sad to hear when the adult CAH people want to join another board. We need you guys. You are our "peek" into the future. Thanks. I do have a question for you if you do not mind. I see some CAH adults that battle with depression. I can only think that there meds where mis- managed. Do you experience any? It is quite alright if you wish not to answer. I respect everyones privacy.Laura
