Joan, Thanks so much for sharing a story that our children can "visualize" and therefore understand better. It sent chills up my spine as my son was terribly out of control for a 12 month period of time due to the Upjohn suspension problem. How we avoided a crisis during that time is beyond me, but I know God must have been watching over us or my son most certainly would have died. I would love to know where I can read the article you have referenced so I might get a copy for my files. Also, if you have any great stories regarding the bone growth that occurs when the body is mismanaged I would love to hear them. My son's bone age doubled in one year and we have been told he will now become a very stunted adult. I have yet to come up with a good explaination to help my family understand what happened. Also, since my son is a severe salt waster I would love to hear your thoughts on that aspect of it and what you tend to feel when your salt is low, does your body crave it, etc. I am glad that you will be splitting your time between both boards. The adults with CAH definately need a space where they can talk freely, but your first hand knowledge is invaluable to us and our children, so please be patient with us, after all, we are all in this for the better good. I look forward to your next post. LynnLynnT
