Well...we have always given the florinef in the am and we did not have a hard time getting him to give up his night-time diaper. I HAVE to note that he has to have a glass of water before bed. He sometimes forgets and will cry if we say no (you know....you've been in bed 20 minutes and NOW you want water! we learned it is not a stall tactict...he really needs the water). I never thought this might be the timing of the florinef...just that he needs more overall fluid intake in general. And since he doesn't have a hard time getting up at night to "go" if he needs to, we don't mind the bedtime water dose. His sodium and renin levels are fine so I don't think I will even approach the endo about this. but it is good to know!
