Dear Lynn, I am sorry to hear about your son. My son also suffers from CAH. He also has chest pains from time to time. We have discovered over time the chest pains are usually related to high blood pressure & stress. As you have probably been told this condition is very hard on the body. The body deteriates over time. The most important thing is to make sure he is no more than an hour late for his meds. My moto is: Better early than late, to much is better than not enough (when you have to double due to fever or vomiting) My son will be 11 in July. It hasn't been easy, He has his ups and downs regularly. I dont know how we have beat the odds so far,but when puberty hits be prepaired. It gets rough. I will pray for you!!!
