My son WAS undersuppressed for a prolonged period of time. What you said actually agrees with my theory. If undersuppression causes muscle breakdown, what is the heart? One large muscle. He was soooo undersuppresed that he began to go into puberty at the age of 4. He was then oversuppressed for a couple of months (he still is somewhat while we await his next blood test) Which could, be, as you stated, beginning to breakdown his poor little body. He has developed Cushings Syndrome, put on several pounds due to an increase in appetite and a frustration that none of his clothes would fit him. I guess we really are saying the same thing but in a different way. Thank you for ALL your help. Thank you very much for your information. I will keep you posted. This does make sense to me and I will be taking him in next week to have some tests done - of that you can be sure!LynnT
