Lisa, I completely understand your concerns. My daughter is almost seventeen and she also has and still is being mistaken for a boy at first site by people because she dresses comfortabley in baggie clothes and wears her beautiful hair back in a bun. She has no time for Foo-Foo as I call it because she is so busy with sports, music, school etc. I was a bit concerned for a while but she is so strong and when her feelings are hurt we talk about it. When we are together and she is called he or him, I proudly speak up and say she or her - my daughter, so I hope she hears how proud I am and continues to grow stronger. I wish I could live so easily... I am starting to not enjoy the time I spend doing Foo-Foo!!! I have often wondered like you if others share this same experience with their daughters... I can only admire the courage our daughters have to be so confident and happy and having fun!!!Sherrie
