Never tried an anklet, but my daughter has always hated wearing either the bracelet or the necklace. She's just so active that they get in her way and bother her. We've compromised by letting her wear it on the belt loop of her pants. It works great because it's very noticeable yet not in the way. She's in 3rd grade at school and apparantly nobody bothers to ask her about it or they're just so used to seeing it that they don't question why it's there. All I know is that she's happy with the arrangement and it works out well for us.
