My sister had numerous cysts on her ovaries at an early age (8 or 9??); they were completely taken care of with medication, and have not come back (she's now in her 30's). My mom had similar troubles, although was not diagnosed until in her 20's; meds did not work for her, so the cysts were drained with a small needle inserted into her lower abdomen. She needed only local anesthetic and it required only day surgery. In any case, I don't necessarily think that the cysts are a great cause to worry - from my experience (and those I know) they are taken care of relatively easily. Good luck! I will pray for you both!
