our grandson just had a blood test and his 17 OHP levels were 34. One dr. wants to change his medication (said 34 was too high) the other dr. said level meds alone. please share with us your experiences with 2 drs. not agreeing on doses of cortef. one dr. is out of state that our grandson sees annually for a complete checkup, the other dr. is a local ped endo. that oversees him quarterly by taking blood and is available for any local emergencies. our daughter is put in the middle of these two drs., and the local dr. has put it very matter-of-factly. take his advise and let him manage our grandson completely or stop coming to him. we have to have a local dr. for emergencies.
