I have a 7.5yr old daughter and my son is 5. He has CAH not her. I have asked the question many times; if she could get late on-set. We have never done genetic testing. All the endo's we have met with at our hospital tell us that it is not something that they see in the same family. Either all the kids who get it have it at birth or they all get late on-set. The one thing they have told us they are surprised to see however, is that I can trace it on my side of the family because I have a second cousin with CAH. So without testing I can tell that I get the gene from my mother and from her mother. They tell us that is very unusual to see it so close in the family tree without it being just siblings. Judy
