Go to http://www.ed.gov/offices/OCR/ocrada.html and you will find the site for the U.S. Department of Education, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. This specifically addresses the school issues. However, I know that public schools must adhere to this act, whereas private schools may not have to. FYI - About 3 weeks ago I saw a report on channel 4 News in which they were reporting on Section 504. In the NYC school system they are going as far as to accomodate an elementary boy who can not be exposed to light (I forgot the name of the disease) within the school. In comparison to that you would think a possible injection should be a breeze.
