i recently started wearing a medic alert bracelet at 21 years old and my father saw it for the first time this past weekend and asked what it was for. it was weird that i had to explain to my father that i wear it cause i live on my own now and there is no one around me that would know what to do if i were in an accident. i think that it freaked him out. i am glad that i have it though. it makes me feel better knowing that if i were in a car accident they the dr. would know what to do.
