I live about 5-6 minutes from my son's school (he's not in school yet, one more year). I don't have a problem being called to come to him. My question, though, is what about the school bus? He'll be on the bus a good 45 minutes before he gets to school or home. I know the bus driver can radio the bus garage who in turn will call me and let me know where they are. Am I better off changing my work schedule (I do work at home, also) to accommodate taking him to and from school? I think I would feel better getting him and taking him to school. Any advice?
