When I first came to this board 3-4 months ago, I didn't know who Dr. New was or NIH myself. And I live in the U.S.A. All I had to do though was ASK. Then I went to the People & Medical Sites sections on this very board and it gave me as much information as I could get in print. The rest came from asking other sharing & caring people on this board. They were kind and made me feel very comfortable in asking any questions that I felt were important to ME. We recently did a very impromptu survey of who lived where when someone was trying to organize a get together and it was soon apparent that not more than a hand full of people dealing with CAH were on here from each state in the USA and a few responded from other countries. I hope you spoke up at that time and found someone to email that was closer to you and could help you in that way. If not, you may wish to look in some of the Archives and see if you can find any mates from down under. I do think I remember one or two. I don't think it has anything to do with where you live, CAH is a universal language. There are people on this board from Japan who feel they get enough out of this board that it is worth them getting their Japanese to English dictionaries out to communicate. They struggle through to get their point across and I sure have seen several people making an effort to answer back. Jane & Jack, as I said, I haven't been on this board long, but I don't remember seeing your name out their often. Please don't hesitate to post with ANY question you have, I will do my very best to help you, as will a lot of the friends I made while on this board I am sure. The only problem is, if it has something to do with Australians specifically, I wouldn't be able to help you unless it was about scuba diving. Good luck.LynnT
