In a way, many are.

Twice now we've had people wanting to use our experiences to further a project of theirs. Both times the request was phrased in such a way that it gave the impression the author was really only interested in some sensational, tabloid angle, at our kids' (or our, in the case of those with CAH) expense. Since we've all seen how damaging such a narrow approach to CAH can be, we naturally respond without a lot of affection. I agree that these occasions damage the spirit of the board. I am inclined to begin deleting such requests as soon as they're posted, and notify the poster of the reason. While there are some that may be interested in the study, research or article being done, the request can still be made through me, in order to provide everyone who would be interested the opportunity if they wish.
