When I was pregnant with my boys I had oodles of sonograms and was able to see every detail of them from the four chambers of their beating hearts to their tiny toes, yawning mouths - just amazing!! Okay before I ramble - when pregnant with a girl , isn't it possible to detect ambigious genitala with these various sonograms? I just thought that if this were possible the mother could have an amnio to confirm the CAH diagnosis. Then proper treatment would begin at birth, allowing the parents to avoid the hell many of us endured. I have a son with CAH, so in trying to further educate myself on CAH I have always wondered this. Thanks:)
