a few questions

Our daughter just turned two and has salt-wasting CAH. We just switched her to the pills from the liquid cortef. She was taking 2.5mg of liquid cortef 3x/day before starting the pills last week (weighs a little over 28 pounds). We moved to the pills because of the inconsistency issue with the liquid cortef. Her pills only come in 5mg tablets which we cut in half. So she is getting 2.5mg 3x/day. She is not very excited about taking the pills and tries to spit them out. My question is: is it ok to grind up and add juice to the pill? I realize that she will not get the entire pill that way, but if the pills are more consistent and we just upped her dose then wouldn't this be OK? I am concerned that we might be overtreating her with the new pills because I've heard they are stronger than the liquid. Is there some reason to not grind the pill into a powder and add to a liquid? We have done this with the florinef. Also, I have read others comments on various issues and I am wondering what is "moon face"?
