I was glad you asked about the moon face. I was also curious. My son is 5+ and swallows his pills and has since he was about 1 yr or so old. When he was a baby and first admited to Children's hospital they used to crush it and put it in a small vile that you could then put a nipple on. It worked so well that I had my Pharmacist get me a box. Unfortunately they only came in boxes of 50 because they were really ment for the hospitals. They held about 1oz. As he got a bit older my in home day-care mom began laying him on his back an dropping it in the back of his month, that was how he began swallowing it. In between crushing and learning how to swallow it I also just put it into a spoon of applesauce. I never crushed it though when I did this. I had never known that chewing it was an option and he never gave me a hard time if it was in something like applesauce or yogurt. Judy
