Thank you Laura and Roberta for writing me.I beleive that most of you know better than some doctors because you are mothers and you are the ones living the situation,not reading from books.I and my husband have also have more knowledge about CAH than most doctors in Turkey although we knew nothing about it two years ago.(Even didn't hear such an illness)Dear Laura,we had 17OH tests and it was very high.We had more tests but now we are only having 17OH test and taking film of his hand.And Dear Roberta,unfortunately we don't have hydrocortisone in Turkey but we bring it from France.I haven't seen the injection of it and the doctor's didn't mention it.I and my doctor prefer to give the medicine 2 times a day.I prefer it like that because I don't want my child feel really ill among his friends when he goes to school.It is not practical to give 3 times a day.The test results are normal and at time of fever I give 2 or 3 times of his medicine and 3 times a day.Well,i'm doing my best to manage his siuation but i don't want to think about it all the time as i can become ill this time and can't help my small child.
