Welcome! It is nice to have you here with us. I have a daughter that is also a salt waster. She will be three in two weeks. This board has got us through soooo much. I just found it Christmas of this past year. I wish to God I had found it in the begging. My endocrologist told us to always double the dose of Cortef with EVERY immunization. I would always like to be safe then sorry. And like someone mentioned above, a fever is a fever. And a fever is always to be treated with more Cortef. Perhaps your child will be one that will always run a low grade fever with his immunizations. You never know. I think my daughter had a low grade fever once from a shot. Every child is different.
