Questions on the Solu-Cortef Injection

I hate to say that I hope some of you are familiar with the Solu-Cortef injectable but unfortunately I'm sure it has been a reality for some of you. My son had been given an injectable when he was very young. We had to use it about 1.5 yrs ago. We had a great deal of difficulity getting it refilled. Apparently it wasn't made anymore. I am not familiar with the name. Our doctor ended up prescribing the Solu-Cortef which we have had since last Dec. I have always carried it. The other day my husband was taking our children to the beach to visit my dad for the day and when I was packing it I got this strange feeling, not quite sure why but I actually opened the box to take a look. I found that it was just powder. I phoned my pharmasists and he informed me to read through the phamplet but he thought that I needed to fill it with something. He is going to look into it further for me. I did take a read through it and he is correct. So I'm going to go in to see him and have him explain how to do it. But... I guess my question is has anyone had to do this and how easy / difficult is it. I'm concerned about needing to use it and not knowing how. The last time it was already liquid form and I was all set. Thanks Judy
