I have also heard that this information can be used against you. Not that CAH is a condition that would cause someone to be denied health insurance BUT many people say they have been denied life insurance for CAH. So would an insurance company deem a carrier reason to deny life insurance --- I don't know. But, when you do apply for health or life insurance, there could be a form you sign that you agree to allow the insurance company to your medical records (some companies do this). Any life insurance form I've helped someone fill out that is for more than just a small policy - they do ask about health history/known conditions. Could it be possible for the company to charge a high rate of life (or health) insurance for a carrier? I don't know.Anon
