CAH is scary at the beginning but you probably already have more knowledge about it than your present or any future GP. Liam is 8.5 and leads a full and active life. His GP last saw him when we registered 2 years ago!! We have found that prevention is better than cure. If any of his friends are coming down with something I will increase his dose by a quater for a few days. It is always important to remember that hyrocortisone is not toxic and a double dose will do no harm for a short period. Your endocrine unit is the best source of information but you will soon outgrow them.
