Re: Re: For Steve:Do we need to give something to eat before giving hydrocortisone?

I re-read the message I sent and it does give the impression that we acted independently. We did not and just questioned the need for the three times a day dosage. We have the usual 6 month check up at Great Ormand Street Childrens Hospital and our present regime was agreed with the endocrine specialist. We have be doing this for about 4.5 years now and Liam's growth has been constant on his growth line and he has always been in the top 75% for his height. His hydrocortisone and fludrocortisone dosage has not been changed for 3.5 years and his weight does not fluctuate at all. Steve, we have our next endocrine appointment next month with the new specialist(previous one has just retired) and I would be grateful if you can expand on short term and long term time frames. Every time we have an appointment notes are taken concerning Liam's dosage regime and it has not been questioned. I will definetly ask for clarification next month. Thanks for the input
