Just to give my two cents. My mother recently considered having some very personal testing done. She also has two sisters who are both office managers for years in doctors offices. They both advised her against it. They both indicated that "you would be absoulutely amazed at where that information goes and who has access to it. If it were me (meaning them) then I would would not do it!" I personally have never had an issue. We have never opted for the genetic testing and most likely will not. I already know for me it is my mothers side of the family and my husbands side doesn't seem to interested. We have not opted for life insurance for our children as we have chosen another route. I just wanted to let you know what two doctors office managers thought about individuals medical records. Judy
