We were able to give the sodium in bottles. I think we gave 2-3 cc in a 4 oz bottle. We breastfed for 2 feedings and bottle fed the other 4. He would not take the sodium directly but did fine with the formula. I would suggest trying to put the dose into whatever amount of formula or breastmilk you KNOW they will consume in one feeding. That will dilute it the most and get most of the sodium in. You might have to try giving less and more often over the course of the day. Good luck!
