Amanda has been treated for late onset CAH since she was 16. She is now 20, and taking dexamethasone, spironolactone and demulen. She has complained about occasional hot flashes, and when she discribes them, they sound like my menopausal hot flashes. Has anyone experienced these, and what do they mean. Her levels have been very well controlled, but her periods are always very light and last only 2 days. I am worried about her ovary function. Her endo is away on vacation, and I will talk to him when he returns. Anyone with any info would be appreciated. Amandasmom (Maxine)
