Yes Judy, my son went from barely eating (due to his under suppression) to eating non-stop (due to his over suppression). He would eat not one but two sandwiches for lunch and then ask for more. If I tried to keep him from eating too much he would cry and say that his tummy was hungry. He would come to me and tell me that he was starving! He would actually cry for food. All I could do was make sure that he was eating healthy foods. He didn't care, as long as he was getting food. In the long run, it was a change for the better all the way around because it forced us to focus even more on eating a healthy, balanced diet for the whole family. He helps water the garden now and can't wait to pick cucumbers or tomatoes from the garden. It did help when I made sure that he had something in his tummy before his morning dose and any subsequent doses, but he gained a lot of weight in a short period of time. After we finally got him back to a good, consistent level the weight began to come off and his ravenous appetite was curbed. He remains solid and looks very muscular for a 5 year old. I believe that that has something to do with the fact that he was going into puberty though. We are due to get his latest blood work back next week and I will be interested to see where his levels are now. I wish you the best of results at your September endo visit. LynnLynnT
