Laura, I don't know why your Endo is having you cut to two doses. That doesn't make since as the pill version of cortef is exactly the same as the liquid. (or is supposed to be if they could do the liquid stuff right) The pill doesn't last any longer in the body. I suggest you call Upjohn to confirm this or talk to a really good pharmicist or get another opinion from an endo. By the way, Both the pill and liquid last approximately 8 hours in the system according to research I've done.
