My son (almost 2) also started the Cortef pill on Thursday. I have always just given him the florinef pill in a spoonful of yogurt and it has always worked. So I did the same with the Cortef pill and he swallowed it right down with no problems. By the way I don't crush it. Just find something that she really likes and give it to her that way.
