Dear Shaun, My son was 6 1/2, when he was diagnosed, with a 12.5-13 yr. old bone age. His bone age had nothing to do with the dex., and was only because the CAH was not caught until then. We noticed pubic hair one day, mentioned it to our pediatrician, who sent us to our endo, who diagnosed him with CAH 3 days later. Our doctor's paper on dexamethasone and CAH is 15 pages long, plus 2 additional pages of footnotes, so probably much too long to publish on this Board. I would also be a little leery of doing so, without consulting with him first, for fear of interfering with copyright issues. If you are interested, however, I will be happy to ask him how people can get a copy of his paper, or if he would mind if I copied it for others who are interested.
