LEVELS (17 OHP)
7/28/00 9:09 PM
Our grandson had blood drawn last week and his endo called my daughter today and said he was very pleased with his levels which were 56. What does that exactly mean? Our grandson is 7 years old and had his meds changed about 6 weeks ago to 5 mg of cortef in the am and 7 1/2 mg in the pm. why do the drs. find it necessary to always alter the doses of the meds of the children. i know it has something to do with growth, but Jess's bone age has always been perfect. Just curious is the level 56 was good as far as others are concerned. i'm so glad i've relocated this board. i really missed reading it for the past months.thanks for your input to my probably ignorant question.
