I have been lucky enough to count JoanW as one of my friends made by posting on this board. I trade emails with her on a regular basis and find her to be quite fascinating and full of very acurate information. In her 50 years on this earth she has managed her health very well. Having been diagnosed in a time when they knew very little about it she has been a stellar example of how healthy life could be for our children. It didn't just happen that way for her, she took control over her own treatment and was an active participant in researching everything to do with her health care. Needless to say, when she posts, I listen. Thanks for being an active part of this message board Joan.
