Hi Jennifer, First off, congratulations on becoming a new mom. Your daughter can and will lead a normal life. Treat her as you would any child and she will be fine. You certainly have come to the right place. There seems to be something wrong with the board since it usually has 4 or 5 pages of posts. I'm sure Danny will let us know what is going on. I have salt-wasting CAH. I'm 36 and I can tell you it does get easier from my viewpoint. Hang in there. When the board is up and running, you should be able to find all sorts of tips for giving medicine and salt. As for the surgery, Shaun's advice seems sound. Do what is medically necessary now and wait on the cosmetic stuff. I've had the surgery and fortunately for me, it worked. Others were not so lucky and have lost sensation.
