Actually, we never used any form of suspension other than water for Ginny (the PedEndo took Jonathan off the orange stuff before she was born). Dissolved in about a half teaspoon of water and squirted in the back of her mouth with a syringe worked fine. We started just giving her the pill (of part whichever the dose was) when she was about a year and a half old.
