I don't know if you have the same problems with pagers as with cell phones, but sometimes there are problems getting calls through to cell phones. I had one bad time with my cell phone waiting for my son to come home from college on a bus. I was 50 feet away from him behind a building, and he could not reach my cell phone! He kept getting the message that the phone was out of range!!! Maxine
