I know this is not the popular option in this day and age, but have you considered home-schooling?? I have decided to make an attempt at home-schooling our 5 yr old (non CAH) son for other reasons, and it is definately an appealing option when our almost 3 yr old CAH daughter gets to be school age. Since you mentioned that you are a stay at home mom, I assume that this might be an option for you; it is actually not as scary as it sounds, and is becoming more popular for various reasons. Recent studies have shown that home-schooled kids are usually above the national grade equivalent averages, too (probably because of the extra "one on one" time!). Yes, I know that our kids have to learn to deal with their condition eventually, and "get out into the REAL (?) world", but perhaps homeschooling could be used - if nothing else - for a few of the early years until our kids are old enough to really fend for themselves??
