My 2 cents...

LynnG, I vote that you get your son on the tablet form now. Some things to think about: the local pharmacy willing to compound the pill into suspension is STILL a suspension... if it were that easy it would be done everywhere. Strike ONE. The local pharmacy sounds like it is different than the pharmacy where the on the ball pharmicist works... and people do come and go all the time. Strike TWO. Strike THREE is for you doctor saying it wasnt as easy to adjust the dosage. I think if he wanted EASY than he should NOT be a doctor! What kind of BS is that? It is not hard either. He will have to give it a bit more thought... at the cost of your son being better regulated. I would say it is WAY worth it. If you INSIST on the pill form they would comply and figure it out. All the other endos do! Another thought... It is alway important to have the right dosage and levels... as your son is 8 and JUST RECENTLY diagnosed as having CAH then perhaps it is even more critical that the doctors not experiment with the suspension on him.
