Sharon, your daughter sure knew what she was doing when she picked you to be her mom. How wonderful you are to do so much research on your own and not just let the doctors try to figure it out. We have all found that the best defense in out childrens health, and our own for that matter, is education, education, education. Since your daughter has only half of her immune system in place, it would be of the utmost importance to find out if this IS CAH related or not since CAH renders the child unable to fight off infections, fevers and viruses of any kind without the help of some corticosteroids. Please keep us posted on that issue especially, but all the rest too. I am so sorry to hear that you and your daughter have been through so much turmoil in her short life.
